Chicken BLT on sourdough with basil & chive sour cream

Ideal as a snack or main course this sourdough recipe makes for a more interesting lunch with extra flavour.


  • 2 Chicken breasts cooked and sliced
  • ½ tbsp chopped basil
  • ½ tbsp chopped chives
  • ½ tsp lemon juice
  • ½ tub Avonmore sour cream
  • 4 slices Sour dough bread
  • Washed mixed lettuce
  • 1 sliced vine tomato
  • 4 slices bacon, precooked


In a small bowl, mix the basil, chives, lemon juice & sour cream & refrigerate.

To assemble
Spread sour cream mix over the sour dough bread and assemble sandwich with sliced chicken, lettuce, tomato & bacon on top.
