A delicious avocado-based dip that originated in Mexico – great with nachos.


  • 2 tbsp Avonmore Sour Cream
  • 2 ripe avacados
  • 1 tomato, coarsely chopped
  • ½ small onion
  • ½ red chilli
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Handful of chopped coriander
  • Salt


  1. Whizz the tomato, onion, chili and lime juice in a food processor
  2. Peel and cut the avacados in half and remove the stone
  3. Add to other ingredients in processor together with the coriander, sour cream and salt and whiz.
  4. Chill before serving with tortilla chips or deep-fried potato skins
