Bananas Foster

Creamy banana with whipped cream


  • 100g Avonmore Irish butter
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 4 bananas peeled, halved, and cut lengthwise
  • 60ml whiskey
  • 4 tbsp Avonmore Fresh Cream

To serve

  • Avonmore Freshly whipped cream


1          Melt the butter in a large pan over a medium-high heat. Add the brown sugar and stir together to combine.

2          Add the bananas and cook until caramelised on both sides. Add the whiskey and heat through for 3-4 minutes (the alcohol will cook off during this time). Add the cream and stir to coat.

3          Serve the bananas topped with Avonmore Freshly Whipped Cream or vanilla ice cream.
