crunchy chicken with garlic dressing

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 5 tablespoons corn flour
  • 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dark chilli sauce
  • 3 medium eggs
  • 1 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 1 teaspoon dried sweet peppers
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • salt and pepper
  • 100g chopped walnuts or hazelnuts
  • 100g flaked almonds
  • Avonmore butter & vegetable oil, for frying


  • 200g Avonmore sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon fresh dill, finely chopped
  • salt


  1. Prepare dressing mixing Avonmore sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic and dill. Add salt for taste and leave to cool.
  2. Prepare chicken mixture adding all ingrediets and mix together in a bowl. Leave over night in a fridge. Next day add nuts and almonds to the mixture. If the mixture is too thin add one tablespoon corn flour. Heat the oil and Avonmore butter in a large frying pan over a medium – high heat. Form the fritters in the shape of sticks on the frying pan. Fry until golden brown.
  3. Serve hot or cold with garlic dressing. Perfect as a party finger food.
