Kickin’ no-churn Ice Cream

  • 475ml cold Avonmore double cream
  • 1 can (397g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 10ml vanilla essence
  • 30ml alcohol / spirit / liqueur of choice (optional)


  1. Stir together condensed milk, vanilla, and alcohol (if desired) in a medium sized bowl.
  2. Using an electric mixer, beat cold Avonmore double cream on high until stiff peaks form, 3 minutes approximately in a large sized bowl .
  3. Using a spatula, gently fold whipped cream into condensed milk mixture. Pour into a  metal / silicone loaf pan and cover with cling film. Freeze until firm, approximately 6 hours.
